Customer Promotional Offer
Last updated: 22 September 2026
1. The offer and the Promoter
1.1 The Starts at 60 $100 Gift Card Offer (Offer) is offered, funded and administered by Starts at 60 Pty Ltd (ABN 43 168 338 289) of Unit 6, Level 1, 20 Hockings Street, West End QLD 4101 (Starts at 60, we, us, our). Starts at 60 is the Promoter of the Offer and issues the Gift Card.
1.2 Private health insurance comparison and advice is provided by Comparify Pty Ltd (ABN 78 665 886 644) (Comparify). Starts at 60 does not arrange, issue or advise on health insurance. Comparify is not the Promoter of the Offer and is not responsible for providing the Gift Card.
1.3 By participating in the Offer, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions (Terms). If there is any inconsistency between these Terms and any other terms in relation to the Offer, these Terms prevail. Your use of the Comparify Service is governed by Comparify's Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.
2. Definitions
In these Terms:
- Comparify Service
- means the private health insurance comparison and advice service provided by Comparify, accessed via comparify.au (including comparify.au/starts-at-60), by calling Comparify (including on 1300 311 060), or by speaking with a Comparify advisor.
- Eligible Customer
- means a person who meets all of the criteria in clause 4.
- Eligible Policy
- has the meaning given in clause 5.2.
- Gift Card
- means an AUD $100 pre-paid Visa debit card, or an equivalent pre-paid card or digital gift card of the same value selected by Starts at 60, issued in digital or physical form at Starts at 60's discretion.
- Insurer
- means the registered private health insurer that issues the Eligible Policy.
- Offer Period
- means the period starting on 14 September 2026 and ending at 11:59pm (AEDT) on 13 November 2026, or the date the Offer is withdrawn under clause 14, whichever is earlier.
- Policy Start Date
- means the date on which cover under the Eligible Policy commences, as confirmed by the Insurer.
- Qualifying Period
- means the period of 60 days starting on and including the Policy Start Date.
- Qualifying Switch
- has the meaning given in clause 5.1.
- Starts at 60 Group
- means Starts at 60 Pty Ltd and each of its related bodies corporate (as defined in the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth)), including Travel at 60, and their affiliated member programs.
3. Offer Period
3.1 The Offer is available for Qualifying Switches where the Eligible Policy is purchased during the Offer Period. The date of purchase is the date the application for the Eligible Policy is submitted to the Insurer through the Comparify Service.
3.2 A Qualifying Switch purchased during the Offer Period remains eligible for the Gift Card even if the Qualifying Period ends after the Offer Period, provided all other requirements of these Terms are met.
4. Who is eligible
4.1 To be eligible for the Offer, you must, at the time you purchase the Eligible Policy:
- be aged 18 years or over;
- be an Australian resident eligible for Medicare; and
- be the policyholder (or a person authorised to act for the policyholder) of the Eligible Policy.
4.2 You do not need to be a member of Starts at 60, Travel at 60 or any other member of the Starts at 60 Group to be eligible for the Offer.
4.3 Employees of Starts at 60, the Starts at 60 Group, Comparify, ItsMy Group and any Insurer, and their immediate family members, are not eligible for the Offer.
5. What counts as a switch
5.1 A Qualifying Switch occurs when you purchase a new Eligible Policy through the Comparify Service during the Offer Period, and that policy is arranged by Comparify. This includes moving your cover from another Insurer to a new Insurer and taking out private health insurance for the first time.
5.2 An Eligible Policy is any complying:
- combined hospital and extras policy; or
- hospital-only policy,
available for purchase through Comparify at the time of purchase.
5.3 The following are not Eligible Policies and do not qualify for the Offer:
- extras-only (general treatment only) policies;
- Overseas Visitors Cover (OVC), Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) and any other cover for non-residents;
- ambulance-only cover; and
- changes to an existing policy with your current Insurer, including upgrades, downgrades, adding or removing people, or changing product levels within the same Insurer.
5.4 The Eligible Policy must be purchased through the Comparify Service. Policies purchased directly with an Insurer, or through any other intermediary or comparison service, do not qualify.
6. Conditions to receive the Gift Card
6.1 You will become entitled to the Gift Card only if, at the end of the Qualifying Period:
- the Eligible Policy has been held continuously for at least 60 days from the Policy Start Date;
- the Eligible Policy is active and has not been cancelled, suspended or requested to be cancelled;
- the Eligible Policy has not been cancelled within the Insurer's cooling-off period; and
- all premiums due for the Qualifying Period have been paid in full, and the policy is not in arrears.
6.2 Nothing in these Terms affects your right to cancel the Eligible Policy within the Insurer's cooling-off period or at any other time. If you do so before the end of the Qualifying Period, you will not be eligible for the Gift Card.
6.3 You do not need to submit a separate claim. After the Qualifying Period ends, Starts at 60 will confirm the status of the Eligible Policy with Comparify, which may in turn confirm it with the Insurer and/or its administration partner.
7. Limits
7.1 The Offer is limited to one Gift Card per person in any 12-month period, measured from the Policy Start Date of the Eligible Policy for which a Gift Card was last issued. If you make another Qualifying Switch through the Comparify Service within that 12-month period, you will not be eligible for a further Gift Card.
7.2 Only one Gift Card is issued per Eligible Policy, regardless of the number of people covered by it (for example, couples or family policies). A Gift Card will not be issued for an Eligible Policy if any adult covered by that policy has received a Gift Card under this Offer in the preceding 12 months.
8. When the gift card is issued
8.1 Once you have satisfied all of the eligibility criteria, Starts at 60 will issue the Gift Card within 120 days of the Policy Start Date.
8.2 Issue may be delayed if Starts at 60 is unable to verify your identity or the status of the Eligible Policy, or if your contact details are incorrect or incomplete. Starts at 60 will not be responsible for delays caused by information not being available from Comparify, the Insurer or you.
9. How it is delivered
9.1 At Starts at 60's discretion, the Gift Card will be sent either:
- digitally, to the email address; or
- physically, by post to the Australian residential address,
that you provided to Comparify when you purchased the Eligible Policy through the Comparify Service.
9.2 You are responsible for ensuring your contact details are correct. Please tell Starts at 60 at admin@startsat60.com promptly if they change during the Qualifying Period.
9.3 If a Gift Card cannot be delivered, Starts at 60 will make reasonable attempts to contact you. If you do not respond with valid details within 60 days of Starts at 60's first attempt to contact you, your entitlement to the Gift Card will be forfeited.
9.4 Once sent, Starts at 60 is not responsible for Gift Cards that are lost, stolen, delayed, misdirected or filtered as spam, except to the extent required by law.
10. Gift Card terms
10.1 The Gift Card is issued by Prezzee Pty Ltd or another third-party card provider nominated by Starts at 60, and its use is subject to that provider's terms and conditions, including any expiry date, activation requirements and permitted merchants. Starts at 60 is not responsible for the Gift Card provider's acts or omissions.
10.2 The Offer and the Gift Card are not redeemable for cash, are not refundable, and cannot be exchanged. Your entitlement to the Offer is not transferable to any other person.
10.3 Starts at 60 may substitute the Gift Card with a pre-paid card or gift card of equal value if the nominated card becomes unavailable.
11. Exclusions and clawback
11.1 You will not be eligible for the Offer, and Starts at 60 may refuse to issue a Gift Card, if Starts at 60 reasonably believes that:
- you have not met all of the requirements in these Terms;
- you have provided false, misleading or incomplete information, including about your age, residency or identity;
- you have attempted to obtain more than one Gift Card in breach of clause 7, including by using multiple names, email addresses or policies; or
- you have otherwise acted fraudulently, dishonestly or in a manner that undermines the fair operation of the Offer.
11.2 If, after a Gift Card has been issued, Starts at 60 reasonably determines that you were not eligible — for example, because the Eligible Policy was cancelled or refunded back to a date within the Qualifying Period, a premium payment for the Qualifying Period was reversed or dishonoured, or clause 11.1 applies — Starts at 60 may cancel the Gift Card (if it has not been used) or require you to repay AUD $100, to the extent permitted by law.
12. Use with other offers
12.1 Unless otherwise stated in these Terms, the Offer may be used in conjunction with promotions offered by Insurers (such as waived waiting periods or free weeks of cover).
12.2 Despite clause 12.1, the Offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other Starts at 60 or Comparify offer, or any other gift card, voucher or cash-back incentive, in respect of the same Eligible Policy.
13. Your choice of cover
13.1 The Offer is available for any Eligible Policy, regardless of which Insurer or product you choose. Starts at 60 has no involvement in the comparison or recommendations provided by Comparify's advisors, which are based on your needs and circumstances, and the Offer does not affect them.
13.2 You should not take out or change your private health insurance solely to obtain the Offer. Before switching, consider whether the new policy suits your needs, including any differences in benefits, waiting periods, exclusions, Lifetime Health Cover loading and premiums.
13.3 Comparify receives commission from Insurers when you purchase a policy through the Comparify Service, and pays Starts at 60 a fee for customers referred by Starts at 60. The price you pay for your policy is not affected. See How Comparify is paid for details.
13.4 Information provided through the Comparify Service is general advice only and does not take into account your personal objectives, financial situation or needs unless your advisor tells you otherwise.
14. Changes to or withdrawal of the Offer
14.1 Starts at 60 may amend, suspend or withdraw the Offer at any time by publishing a notice at comparify.au/starts-at-60/offer-terms. Any change will not adversely affect a Qualifying Switch purchased before the change is published, provided the requirements of these Terms in force at the time of purchase are then met.
15. Privacy
15.1 By participating in the Offer, you consent to Comparify disclosing to Starts at 60 your name, contact details (including your email and residential address), and the details and status of your Eligible Policy (including the Insurer, policy type, Policy Start Date and whether the policy is active and paid up at the end of the Qualifying Period), so that Starts at 60 can assess your eligibility and issue the Gift Card.
15.2 Starts at 60 collects, uses and discloses your personal information in accordance with the Starts at 60 Privacy Policy. For the purposes of the Offer, Starts at 60 may disclose your personal information to the Gift Card provider and any fulfilment or postal service provider, to issue and deliver the Gift Card.
15.3 Comparify handles your personal information in accordance with the Comparify Privacy Policy.
16. Tax
16.1 Starts at 60 makes no representation about the tax treatment of the Gift Card. You should seek independent advice if you are unsure of your tax position.
17. Liability
17.1 Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy, or any guarantee, warranty or other term or condition, implied or imposed by the Australian Consumer Law or any other legislation that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
17.2 Subject to clause 17.1, Starts at 60 is not liable for any loss or damage (including indirect or consequential loss) arising from or in connection with the Offer or the Gift Card, including any act or omission of the Gift Card provider, Comparify, an Insurer or a postal or email service provider.
17.3 Comparify is not the Promoter of the Offer and, subject to clause 17.1, is not liable for any loss or damage arising from or in connection with the Offer or the Gift Card.
18. Governing law
18.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. You and Starts at 60 submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.
19. Questions and complaints
19.1 For questions or complaints about the Offer or the status of your Gift Card, email Starts at 60 at admin@startsat60.com.
19.2 For questions about your policy or the advice you received, call Comparify on 1300 311 060. Complaints about the Comparify Service are handled in accordance with Comparify's Complaints Procedures.
